The KVI Facility Management Solution (FMS) collects and maintains a real time view of all of the critical physical assets within your organization.  This solution is integrated with sensors associated with physical assets – whether these were within the original device implementation, or retro-engineered using any of a wide range of commercially available wired and wirelessly communicating sensors (including RFIDs).

The KVI open architecture enables the continued addition and integration of new sensors, each able to monitor the vital signs of the device it is monitoring and work in combination with other sensors managing other related devices and services.

The KVI FMS manages a wide range of products and services, ranging from HVAC systems, to fire extinguishers; air quality to refrigerator temperatures, motion sensors to security gates. The KVI FMS can capture the current state, understand the significance, and coordinate the response for any item that can be given a network heartbeat.

The KVI FMS provides an instant perspective on the health of the facility.  By understanding the anticipated behavior of any device or service, the KVI FMS will immediately identify that a device or service is experiencing an “out-of-range” behavior.  This will trigger an alert and an appropriate response from the Facility Manager.  This trigger may be for condition-based maintenance or a combination of data from a variety of devices and services that leads to a more urgent response.
