The Knowledge Switch™ captures data from real time sensors. Our patented Event-Based Middleware understands when events of interest are occurring—whether individual events from individual sensors, or combination of events that are related by condition-based rules – including temporal and geospatial relationships. As soon as an event of interest occurs, the Knowledge Switch sends an alert to the appropriate responder.

Each individual who must be made aware of the situation is informed of the incident and provided with the appropriate tools to respond. For the Officer in Charge, this may be a Command and Control Center, complete with the relevant sensor data, a geospatial map of the incident, video feeds from cameras with the appropriate field of vision (and associated analytics), the current duty roster with associated locations and availability, the standard operating procedures for the current incident, and more.

For each security responder, the alert may be sent directly to a radio, pager, smart phone, or whatever is the most appropriate device.

The KVI Suite delivers Actionable Intelligence. All of the actions and all of the responses are managed within the context of the incident, and are managed through to their satisfactory conclusion.
