Knowledge Vector
ships critical software component
DURHAM, NC. May 2005 – Knowledge
Vector shipped a critical component for Project
Guardian. Knowledge Vector and its prime contractor,
CACI Technology, Inc., are enabling the U.S.
Army to detect and alert personnel on the danger of CBRN
(chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear)
particulates.
Project Guardian's capability includes a mobile platform that, once deployed, will immediately determine
the threat conditions, in real-time, to people and
property and transmit this information securely to
authenticated personnel. The successful prototyping and
demonstration of this capability has direct
applicability to Homeland Security and use within
regional anti-terrorism activities.
Knowledge Vector will provide a demonstration of the
Knowledge Switch's functionality as part of this project
in July of 2005.
