KSX Version 2.8 for the Knowledge Switch Released
DURHAM, NC (9/17/07) - Knowledge Vector, Inc announces the release of Knowledge Switch software KSX version 2.8. This innovative enterprise software platform facilitates development of automated awareness applications.
As KVI continues to expand its vision for sending any information, anywhere, with its patented MicroBroadcasting technology, KSX version 2.8 contains several messaging enhancements and capabilities. For example, now the KSX can send formatted messages in HTML. Users will appreciate receiving richly formatted messages which place appropriate emphasis on important relevant content. Additionally, with new media capabilities of version 2.8, users can receive email with alarm images from a video surveillance system.
Also new in version 2.8 is the custom content type manager. This utility helps administrators manage event types and facilitates the development of complex event processing applications (CEP). Administrators can more easily create new abstract types to represent higher order events to model the scenarios they are interested in monitoring.
